Dr. Andi East is originally a native from the culturally diverse and vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas.
She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2012 with a BS in Biology and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 2017. During her time in College Station attending veterinary school, she was an active member of the Pain Management, Internal Medicine, and Emergency and Critical Care clubs. She also held the position of Ostrich Husbandry Supervisor, where she taught first-year students how to perform physical examinations on exotic species such as ostriches.
Dr. East is a member of both the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association and holds an active interest in ophthalmology, internal medicine, cardiology, and emergency medicine. Although she was born in San Antonio, Dr. East has always been eager to move to Austin to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and live music. Dr. East strives to provide compassionate and complete care with open communication to her clients.
